I participated in the project called 'When we connect' which involved the trip to the Hague for three days (15th-19th). The main point of the programme was the conference about the European Union. There were two different groups - the Polish one and the Dutch one. We had a lot of time to talk, to share experiences.

On the first day, when we arrived we received an accommodation at stayOkay hostel. In the afternoon we met the group of Dutch students. We were taken to the museum, to the building of Dutch parliament and in the evening we were strolling around the city with a guide.

Next day the conference took place at the huge building of Dutch library. We were divided into three smaller groups and faced with three exercises:

- we drew a poster

- discovered what the EU really is

- debated on five various topics.

This resulted in recommendations for the EU, new ideas for it and new solutions. After all day the time for relax came. We were taken for bowling, and we all really enjoyed it!

The last day we spent at the open-air exhibition which shows the miniatures of whole Holland. In the evening we caught train and left the Netherlands tired but happy and full of new experiences.
